Julieta Ryder, M.D.
Julieta Ryder, M.D. joined Kellis Eye Center in July 2015. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, graduating with a major in neuroscience and a minor in chemistry. She received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. Following medical school, Dr. Ryder completed her internship at MetroHealth Medical Center. Her residency was completed at University Hospital's Eye Institute and Case Medical Center. While there, she maintained a complex caseload of ophthalmic patients and a high surgical volume. Dr. Ryder completed her fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with Dr. Augustine Kellis in 2016. During her fellowship, special emphasis was placed on the use of the CO2 Laser and on mastering the technique used in the Kellis Laser Lift. Dr. Ryder is board certified in Ophthalmology.
Dr. Ryder has been active in several research studies involving the ophthalmic patient. She has volunteered her time at the Medworks Vision Clinic and the Free Eye Clinic of Cleveland. Her special interests include:
- General Ophthalmology
- Oculoplastic surgery
- Cataract surgery including the use of premium IOL implants
Dr. Ryder has clinical privileges at UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital in Chardon, The Center for Advanced Eye Surgery in Youngstown, and TriPoint Medical Center in Concord. Born in Argentina, Dr. Ryder relocated to Florida as a child. Although she has been a resident of Ohio for many years, she remains fluent in Spanish. She currently resides in Pepper Pike with her husband and son. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, boating, hiking, and cooking.
